I battle with seasonal allergies. I am allergic to a few things and I have been tested at a specialist to find out what. Yes a specialist will test for about 50 or more things which is handy but the test is very expensive. First you got to pay for the specialist visit then pay for the test which is a couple hundred dollars. I didn't have insurance so this really inconvenienced me. I know there are others out there like me that don't have insurance and suffering with allergies. I have great news for you! So I received my test and it was very organized with great detailed instructions. It was very easy to do. It was a simple finger prick like the ones you get to test your iron or blood sugar. Then put a few drops of blood into the test tube. Then seal and add the id stickers and mail. It was really that simple. It took about 3 weeks for me to get my results through email. It came back with the two allergens that the expensive test at my doctors also showed, Bermuda Grass and Dust mites. So out of the 10 allergens it tested for I knew from other test what I was allergic too and this test showed the exact same two allergens. So it was 100% accurate with my results. I wasn't sure how it was gonna work because you know there is always human errs and stuff but it worked. This test was so easy and way less painful then the test I got at the doctors. there I got the "scratch test" where they have 40 to 50 little prong like things they dip in the allergen oils and then press into your skin and wait for a reaction. It sucked trust me. It looked like I had chicken pox for like a day or two. I am so glad this was not like that or I probably wouldn't of done it. This is way safer and easier I would and will use it on my daughter as well to do her test instead of putting her through the torture again at the doctors.

Both me and my husband wear glasses and so does my 8 year old daughter. It's hard for him to find a good fitted pair since he has a big head and these fit nice. He can see perfectly with them and just can't get over how nice they are for so cheap. We usually spend 4 times this amount for him a good pair of glasses. So this will save alot.

Overall we were extremely pleased with our choices. They were made with great quality and have some many great brands.  Ingredients:

Did you know that bike riding is the second most popular outdoor activity in America, behind running? I know I didn't know. But it makes sense. I always see alot of people out riding including my kids. My biggest weakest is snacks. I love food and snacks. I can't finish big meals but I can snack all day lol. So I have been trying to find better snacks. Hiding Carly- Junior mystery book review

My oldest loves mystery books. She can read them all day every day. So when I got the chance to review Hiding Carly I knew my daughter would want to read it.

My daughter immediately started to read it when we got it. She literally couldn't put the book down. She had it done in a little over 2 days. She loved it. She said it was suspenseful and interesting the whole book through. She recommended it to a few of her friends and now they want to read it too. Definitely a fun junior mystery book. It's not too scary or gory just suspense and keeps you wondering. This is a must read for teens! So get your copy today!

I remember a time when vacations were simple.  I could flit off to somewhere warm in the winter or go skiing in the summer on a whim.  I packed a bag or two, bought a ticket and went on my way.  Not so, now that I have kids.  Vacations are so much more meaningful than they ever were before but they also require an incredible amount of preparation.  Here are some great tips and tricks to ensure a fun and hassle-free vacation:

Prepare for life's little messes

Children are messy!  Come prepared for motion sickness, potty accidents, colds, boo-boos and sticky fingers.  Keep extra first aid supplies, wipes, zipper bags, and tissues accessible for quick clean-ups.  For easy access, you may want to invest in a trendy backpack or travel sack.  If you are traveling with younger children, you may encounter a mess that is beyond wipes.  An extra set of clothes in an easy-to-reach or carry-on bag may prove to be a lifesaver.

Don't skimp on the entertainment

Long trips plus bored kids equals DRAMA!  You don't want to haul a dozen different electronics on a plane, but let's face it, packing a few will undoubtedly make for a smoother ride.  iPads can be loaded with educational games and material that can be used with headphones.  Download fun games to a tablet to help pass the time.  Handheld games take up very little room.  Of course, don't forget to bring a few non-electronic essentials such as crayons, coloring books, playing cards and travel games. I am always amazed at how long a new box of crayons can keep my kids occupied during a long trip – and at 99 cents a box it is most definitely worth the investment!

Try to keep nap times on schedule

It may be hard to force a child to sleep on a plane, train or in a car, but do try to encourage them to close their eyes during normal naptimes.  Bring naptime blankets and toys and do what you can to darken the space.  Close window shades if you are traveling by air or train.  If you’re planning a long car trip, think about investing in a portable shade for your car.  Older children may have fun using eye masks to help them sleep.

Research makes perfect

It is easy to get caught up in the planning process and forget that vacations are supposed to be fun.  Between all of the required reservations and number crunching in your head, it can become overwhelming.  A solution many of us choose is to book the cheapest flight and least expensive hotel possible in order to spend that money elsewhere.  Instead of downgrading your transportation and accommodations, try using the Internet to find the best deals without sacrificing comfort.  Flying earlier in the day will make your waiting time much shorter and is often cheaper.  Also try using hotel review sites or social networking to find your family’s perfect hotel. When my family traveled to Hawaii, we utilized our friends online to vet all of Honolulu’s top hotels and ultimately found the one best suited for our vacation plans.  If you are traveling for a weekend trip, look into booking a hotel in the business district.  Many of these hotels rely on their Monday through Friday traffic and have decreased rates during the weekend. 

Pack ahead

Don't wait until the last minute to pack!  Begin making a list as far in advance as possible.  I use my smartphone for my initial list – that way I never forget to add something or worse, misplace my list!  Start packing a week before the trip and finish no later than the day before you leave.  The calmer you are on departure day, the calmer the kids will be.

Following a few simple steps will help you accomplish the much larger goal: to have fun, relax and create wonderful family memories.

Ride Along Dolly Seat review

My girls, all 5 of them, have the American Girl like dolls and the little girls especially love taking them everywhere with them. Now that it is Spring and the weather is getting nice we are spending alot of time outside playing and riding bikes. The girls try and give their dolls rides as well lol. So when I got the chance to try out Ride Along Dolly bike seats I knew my girls would love them.

When we got the bike seat the girls were already fighting over who's bike it would go on ugh lol. I told them we would try it out and if we like it we would get the other 2 one. So we attached it to the bike with one bolt and it was sturdy and ready to go. My girls couldn't wait to take turns riding their dolls around the neighborhood. We love that it has a seat belt to keep the dolls safe. They love how pink and pretty the seat is. Its definitely a girl seat lol. I love that it is light and not too big.
