Nutrisystem week 22

My Nutrisystem journey continues and I made it to week 22. I did very good this week. I exercised daily and increased my water intake. I ate more vegetables and fruits. I stuck mostly to the diet other than lunches but I never went over 200 calories at lunch so that's good. I really hope I see the results this week!

My favorite Nutrisystem foods of the week were the blueberry muffins for breakfast with a half of a grapefruit. For lunch a yummy chicken Cesar salad with low fat dressing. Dinner the whole wheat ricotta crepes are delicious. I didn't drink as much soda this week maybe 2 the whole week. My coffee I used splenda or agave for the sweetener and fat free creamer. I did really good.

So I worked my butt off this week with little weight loss but I can say I had a body evaluation done at the health fair and that really cheered me up. My body fat percentage when I started was 30% and my BMI was 23.77. Now 22 weeks later my body fat percentage is 19.6% and BMI is 22.1. Wow now that is a huge change. Sometimes when you don't see the poundage loss you got to look at other factors like inches and body fat. Now I know my results are happening! Stay tune next week for my next update!

Nutrisystem week 21

So my Nutrisystem journey continues and it is now week 21. This was a tough week for me getting back into the groove of the diet and exercise regimen. I did pretty good with the exercise part. I think I did very well on the diet as well. I did go off once or twice but I totally did the proportion sizes. I think I did very good this week.

My favorite Nutrisystem foods of the week were the whole wheat honey bagels. Yummy I love bagels! I also liked the meatloaf and mashed potatoes dinner. I still have a real tough time with lunches because there isn't alot of choices of lunch s and I don't like most of them. So for lunches I usually do a salad or soup or even a chicken breast with salad.

A New Year and a New Nutrisystem week 20

So my last Nutrisystem I told you my journey was done well since I did reach my first goal of 10lbs I made another goal to lose 5 more pounds so a total of 15lbs since started. Seeing the new Nutrisystem Success program started in 2012 I decided to go ahead and continue for another 3 months and try to make it to make ultimate goal of weighing 115. Yay! Now I must say the Holiday did damage to my diet. I must say though after going through the Nutrisystem I had alot more self control and realized portion control but I did gain some of that fetched weight back (Im sad) but this is a new year and I have more motivation and more control to do this right!

So what's new with the Nutrisystem Success program? Alot! It is a better program with alot more success. It doesn't only help you diet but it helps change your lifestyle and help you learn that its not a diet it is a way of life and you learn the basic on how to eat without overindulging. Plus they added some great new food item inspired by Chefs Table! MMM Yummy! The best part they added a delicious yet fulling protein shake to breakfast that comes in 4 different flavors, strawberry, vanilla, chocolate and coffee. The great thing about the shakes is you just add cold water and mix in their convenient mixing shaker cup. Fingers cross I can get that squeezed in my schedule of fulltime college and 6 trips to picking and dropping kids off at their schools along with appts. and errands and etc. But you know what it is a New Year and a new goal and I am not going to see my glass half empty. Frosted toast Crunch cereal review and giveaway ends 1-27

My kids and hubby loves cereals for breakfast and for late night snacks. The only thing is they like sweet unhealthy cereals and I refuse to buy them. Our Opinion:
Being a mom to 6 kids and being a nursing student I see how bullying is getting so bad and most bullying is about weight. Being in a very obese world right now just doesnt help either. It is sad! This movie I feel so be put in every school curriculum even elementary school levels. I mean bullying starts in Kindergarten these days. You can be bullied on clothing, weight, friend choices, religion, skin color, and cleanliness and more. It is becoming a academic in our world and kids are taking it harder resulting in low self esteem, bad grades, depression and even suicides. That is absolutely crazy. This movie is a great inspirational movie about a kid with a weight problem and who get severely bullied and how he overcomes it to accomplish his goals. This makes this kid a hero in my eyes. Its hard being a kids as it is and to see what this kid overcomes and his strength is amazing. It is a definite must watch movie and every house and school with kids should have it and watch it.

So  check it out on Amazon and local retailers every where. Watch it as a family; share it with your schools; share it with friends and play groups. Just check out this movie and share it with anyone you think will love it!

Pretty Little Liars new season starts Jan. 2

The new season of Pretty Little Liars is finally here! I cant wait to see what the girls will be up to in the New Year. Will they be up to their old tricks or new tricks? Will we ever see Dr. Sullivan again, and what was in the envelope that “A” handed to her? I am not sure about that either but I cant wait to find out! But one thing I do know is it will be very entertaining to watch.  The Winter Premiere  was on Jan 2, and Mondays at 8/7c on ABC Family. Our Opinion:
This is a total chick flick but you know if you want to make your guy suffer through a chick flick with you this is one you might get them to sit through since its all about baseball. I loved this movie and so did my mom. It is sad, triumphant, empowering and moving. It makes you think about your own struggles in life that you are battling with and after watching this my life goals don't seem as hard to get to after seeing this special person be able to accomplish such a amazing feat. It leaves you feeling if he can do it then I can do it! This is definitely a great movie for the family and very inspiring! You have to check out A Mile in His Shoes on Jan. 10, 2012 when it comes to DVD!

Our Opinion:
As a family we love games of all sorts. We have family game nights as well as we play games whenever we get bored or just want to have fun. So when we got the chance to try out Say Anything we couldn't wait to see if it was a game we would all like. I can say it is a fun game to get to know each other. I like that we ask question and write our own opinion the only part I didn't like was the one person picking their favorite answer and us having to guess to get points. Its everyone's own answer so to me they are all great answers. So we changed it up a bit and did it where the person who draws the card reads the question out loud and then secretly write their answer and we have to try and guess what it is. To me that was alot funner and we had a blast with it. Even though we didn't play the way the rules said we loved the game and still play it our way  all the time and will continue to play it. It is definitely a great ice breaker game to get to know each other and that's why we love it so much! So if your looking for a great game to play that will help you get to know each other better with friends and family then you have to check out Say Anything from North Star Games! You will love it!

Our Opinion:
I loved Garfield as a kid and the love has continued through my kids. They love all the Garfield movies. I mean really whats not to loved about this crazy humorous fat cat Garfield and his loving slobbery sidekick Odie? This movie was funny and kept my kids entertained the whole time. We have probably watched it about 10 times already. They just cant get enough of it and still my kids laugh every-time they watch it. It is a awesome family movie. The Garfield Show: Dinosaur & Other Animal Adventures will be released on January 10, 2012 so check it out when it comes out trust me you don't want to miss it!

I love candles! I absolutely cant get enough of them. I love nights when I can turn lights off and just light candles. Its so relaxing. Now one of my favorite companies Febreze had wooden wick candles and I am in love with them. Why you ask and what's the difference?
